Yamamoto Gomei Company was founded in 1901. Their modern Junmai Ginjo sake is made with ‘Akita sake komachi’ rice produced in the Akita Prefecture. The acidity provides a bit of sharpness but also feels fresh and pleasant on your palette followed with a fruity light taste. It has a beautiful finish with a citrusy sourness. This is a robust Junmai Ginjo that pairs well with food that is rich and full of flavor. Akita produces some amazing sakes that we love and this one is a great addition to their craft.
